      Assuming the individual performing the exercise is in a muscle failure situation, it's important to initiate and maintain a grip that allows you to be in control of the weight to avoid injury. If your partner has not approached that point of their set, then something closer to what you're talking about would be fine for keeping yourself at the ready.

    Could you do a video about proper form? I can not for the life of me find a short/video about what proper form and technique look like on an AMT. I started using one of these at my gym after I sprained my ankle (when they say low impact, they mean it!) and absolutely love it, but I'm not sure if I'm using it safely and efficiently. Thank you!

    Very good interview! Fitz's book is uplifting and definitely help align my perspective. We are always told not to sweat the small stuff and Fitz's Noisy Cancer Comeback puts small stuff in a healthy perspective. PS as Fitz says all throughout the book, "squeeze your stuff" and check for lumps. The sooner you get treatment, the better.
